Coaching: Releasing the Potential
A one-day programme designed for managers and team leaders who seek to strengthen and broaden their Coaching Skills with a view to unlocking their own potential and that of their staff, thereby improving performance.
The workshop is highly participative but accommodates a range of learning styles and is paced to allow time for quiet reflection as well as the opportunity for open debate and discussion.
To understand what coaching is and the skills and techniques required to employ it successfully, this programme helps delegates to understand how to assess current performance, identify learning needs and learning styles and agree and set goals. It then moves on to look at how coaching can be planned and then implemented.
Key Topics include:
- Fostering a learning culture - how to create the right climate.
- Key competencies of a good coach.
- Learning styles - identifying and understanding your own and others’ preferred learning styles.
- Facilitation Skills.
- Preparing for and conducting an effective coaching session.
The programme is tailored to meet the delegates’ specific needs. It can be run in-house or at a venue of the client’s choosing. One-to-one coaching can be provided as well as group sessions for up to eight delegates. The programme is practical and based on realistic methods learned and practised during a twenty year career in HR, Training and Development.
Fees on request.
